thanks for AALL the replies, Funnily enough rustoleum i can get hold of out here, bcredliner did you prime the surface first? yup 40bucks is good, but when i tell you the same thing costs 100 out here makes me think twice about buying a new bit of trim, ok my next discovery may seem a bit extreme but i am calling the rep out here tomorrow, to see if it can work on the trim and if the price is not prohibitive may go for it
