in this case, the timing of the posting of the video on the youtube may prove crucial - the video from the traffic cameras can not be kept forever, as it infringes on the citizens' privacy. the video should be kept for certain period of time (shuold be spelled out in the NYPD scriptures somewhere) and then deleted... so, if the video was posted after the speed cameras deleted the footage, it might tougher for state to prove its case... again, with a good lawyer who is not intimidated by the system...
of course, the BIG BROTHER would rather have those videos kept forever, but... but we pride ourselves as a free, democratic society, and while collection of this information is vital in various investigations, we can not assume that every citizen is a potential criminal just because there are some potential criminals out there... and collect all of that inf... wait... isn't it what the the Big Brother does with our emails? and the phones?... lol

still - stupid to drive like that... he ran a red light in one instance, did he not? and undercut couple cars while taking them over...

the other thing, a lot of his ground was covered in the right lane - tells me about the left lane bandits... for some reason they were not punished... as i drive to work and home everyday, most of my passing (as a matter of fact, under 65 MPH speed limit) is happening in the right lane - the left lane is overcrowded and is crawling at 55 MPH... why? there are NO left turns for the next 80 miles on that stretch of the road...
