Gregory thanks again, part number 5 is not present (neither is 6 for that matter as many have mentioned) there are just two connectors coming of steering wheel that plug direct into airbag, either way would you think that the yellow damaged clips(on the green connector) are there for securing purposes only? , to secure connector to airbag firmly? or have they any other purpose? I dont see how these tabs being damaged will be an issue whilst the actual part of the green connector that makes contact with the pins on air bag are fine....? I have to check bmw tomorrow , it is way past their bedtime here
