I spent $150 on my setup, just got a used Dell D620 laptop on ebay (make sure windows xp, at least 50 gb hard drive which is WIPED CLEAN AND FRESH INSTALL OF WINDOWS XP SERVICE PACK 3 PROFESSIONAL), bought a new extended battery (it came with charging cable), it was refurbished by a computer place and I bought that for 90 bucks shipped, 20 bucks for the battery.
Then I got the Romanian diagnostic package which comes with all software above and cable for 40 bucks. Works like a charm. Save the 350 on some fun mods
