You're not going to see much by taking the fresh air tube off & opening your throttle valve (although you should clean that up). Pull your CCV hose(s) & lay it upright on a paper towel to drain. Depending on the condidtion of the hose(s), be careful because the plastic may be brittle.

I can't seem to get the vacuum hoses off. They have some sort of black plastic clip that holds them in place, and I'm not sure how they function.
