Ditto what ET said ...there's no need to open the car door, get in, then insert the key into the ignition to close the windows/sunroof.

It is called the CONVENIENCE OPERATION...and as outlined in the owners manual...you can just insert the key into the door lock cylinder, then turn & hold the key until the windows/sunroof are all closed.

And as also mentioned, with aftermarket software/hardware, you can program the key to remotely perform this operation (just as you can already roll the windows down & open the sunroof by pressing & holding the UNLOCK button on the remote).
