What I did wasn't rocket science... and yup 6ft sounds about right. Also what I did was after adjusting I drove it in a dark road to see where the beam falls on the road or against buldings inorder to see how high the beams are. Did this a couple times to get it right (according to me
). So far no flashing from oncoming motorist.
