Use the self service car wash once every couple weeks in winter and spray the salt off the body and undercarriage as best you can, a couple bucks in quarters goes a long way.
I usually head there the day after a snowstorm if I have been driving in the storm, once the roads are plowed. Do this after each big snow or more often if you are anal about blasting salt buildup like I am.
Been doing this with all my cars for years in Jersey with no issues with rusting, excessive corrosion, etc.
I put a nice coat of wax on prior to winter months and if I am lucky enough to get 2 complete car washes (I.e. with buckets, soap and mitts, and drying, not just spraying down with the car wash hose gun) during the winter I am happy. And come spring I give my car an awesome complete wash when it's warm enough in the driveway and no ill effects from the winter months to note.
