This. The proper way to do an undercoating is when the vehicle is being built or just before the first owner gets the keys. Regardless of how well you think you can clean the underside of a vehicle a decade old....you'll never get all the contaminants off. All you're going to do is seal the remainder in and let it continue on its destructive path as per bcredliner already mentioned!
