yes, pop one off (I'd pop off the passenger side as its bad anyway), and if you have the plug in addition to the 2 heater wires, you need the auto/dim (mono-uber chrome) mirrors as you so eloquently put it.
But if you are ballin on a budget, and you don't care for the autodim feature, you could buy the mirrors for 60 bucks that I have, gain the blind spot feature, have blue tinted glass, and have your mirror heat function still work.
EDIT: I just realized only the one side mirror is bad, right? if your driver side mirror works as it should (and you have auto dim mirror glass as a factory feature), just get the auto-dim passenger side glass to match.
However, I still am a big fan of the blind spot functioning feature as opposed to the auto-dim feature, much more useful IMO. if you have tinted windows like I do you really don't need auto-dimming mirrors anyway lol!
