10-15 bhp is a very good increase for reprogramming a normally aspirated car!On a 2004 4.4 X5 this will equate to 3.17%-4.76%.
However ,on turbocharged cars ,because you can increase the Turbo's boost pressure accompanied by extra fuelling and optimised injection timing,an increase of 25 to 30% is reliable.

Fiona's car is a Turbocharged 3.0,the increase was a hefty 45bhp but still only 20.6% up on oem power of 218bhp!This increase is well within the engines working temperatures and reliability! To give you an example, Bmw estracted 163 bhp from their 2.0 turbodiesel,so this is more strained than a Fiona's now ,263bhp 3.0!
This is the acceptable power increase practised by the more responsible reprogramming houses,of which Superchips are pioneers.
