x2, always done two sets of mats in my cars and although I have exclusively used these for the past 2 years:

BMW E53 X5 N62 4.8L Interior Floor Mats ES#196748 Front Rubber Floor Mat Set - Black - 82550151189

BMW E53 X5 N62 4.8L Interior Floor Mats ES#196749 Rear Rubber Floor Mat Set - Black - 82550151190

I may be relegating them to winter duty only and getting a set of OE carpet mats. I also have the pullout load floor and I actually prefer a carpeted mat in the trunk for all seasons, no pic on ECS but its 84 bucks to add in.

Good post and don't get me wrong I love the weathertechs, but at 76 bucks you can get front and rear OE all weather mats. However if your feet are extremely dirty in the winter, the Weathertechs will be much more protection as they cover more and have deeper channels. Nice recommendation.
