Two topics one thread

I just received a call from my dealership stating that i have a recall for an EGR bracket. I immediately came here looking to read up on it and nothing. Is this something old? Anyone know anything about it? Should I be in any kind of rush to get this done?



The other thing is, do you guys know what's involved in the "vehicle check" service indicator? Is it a thing to get me into the dealership and empty my wallet? lol If it is, i'll clear the indicator myself as i've been pretty handy doing all the preventative maintenance stuff myself. Thanks a bunch!
