Just finished my winter prep this weekend. Pics forthcoming after I replace my busted side markers.
1) Uber Gray clay bar on windows
2) Nanoskin Fine grade autoscrub mitt on entire car including a 2nd round on the windows
3) Paint inspection, I still have slight swirling and imperfections that I will correct with a medium grade polish/Uber Orange pad in the spring, for now I just wanted clean paint and protection
4) Prima wheel sealant on my 168's
5) Adam's In and Out/Adam's Super VRT on black trims and tires
5) Menzerna Power Lock on all painted parts, and shadowline trim, allowed to haze and cure for 3 full days before wiping off residue
Reinstalled my HID fog lights yesterday, need to do aiming tonight, installed the H3C Morimoto kit into GENUINE VALEO units, expecting wonderful results.
I might add a top coat of Sonax Polymer Netshield as a topper just for fun this weekend, at that point I might as well just spray the car with soap and dry it because the beading will be so ridiculous I won't be able to wash the car and have it stay wet LOL!
And lastly, since we are talking about what I did today, ordered 2 new PDC sensors to replace my two broken ones from this seller on ebay, paid $34 shipped for 2 sensors, will update on the install and quality, as long as it fits and works I won't complain, and I will put back in the PDC fuse and enjoy working Parktronic for the first time since buying my X 2 years ago!
