That's a tough one. I love the equipment under door #2.

As far as the engine, the only thing I haven't loved about the 35i in the E70 is the transmission. It's just too conservative for me and a little slow off the start. To remedy that, I drive it in sport mode 90% of the time.

Rumor has it BMW retuned the tranny for the F15 and it is more assertive. On my test drive I couldn't confirm it and the car was too new.

Otherwise the 35i is plenty, and you get that extra nice stuff.

I'll go with door #2, only reservation is resale may not be great with all that extra equipment (compared to the typical low 60s models).
