Thanks guys, however I may not have explained my problem very well. I am not intending to fly of the line, but instead accelerate at a more average pace. The car doesn't respond as it should and instead of progressively increasing speed, it moves forward at only 2 or 3 mph. As this has happened when joining fast moving traffic, this has left me no choice but to floor it. The engine is warmed up when this happens.
