Follow up: fixed the strange audio. Initially after reset by fuse pull method my BT would connect and sync fine but the audio was only coming out of front passenger door speaker.

Thankfully it got stranger. Few days later my radio stopped working. No audio at all. Noticed the green light on radio for phone was on solid. Checked menus for tel info and the BT unit showed it was stuck on a call (700 mins and counting). Menu option to hang up the call did nothing nor did powering off my phone.

Drove back home, pulled the fuses again and waited 15mins before reconnecting them.

The looped/stuck call was cleared AND my call audio is fixed too with the voices over all of the car speakers. Thx !
