DID YOU PUT "dealer to provide all error codes in writing on the Work ORder"???????

Without error codes there is absolutely no way anyone can give you anything more than a guess.

I always assume dealers are 50 to 200% more than an indy, and 80% more than DIY

How is your battery? How did they DEFINITIVELY diagnose the pump? or is it one code, and they are saying 'must be this based on the codes".

Be aware that a transient code due to low voltage or other glitches can trigger spurious errors- a GOOD tech will read codes, reset, see which ones come back OR run test plans to get a definitive diagnostic. There have been a few stories of dealers chasing ghosts to the tune of $$thousands with the 'read codes and throw parts' approach.

FYI
