The cold air intake will not cause a rich condition. The O2 sensors measure the exhaust gas and cause the ECM to adjust the fuel injector pulse width to deliver the correct air/fuel ratio (cold air will cause a wider pulse and deliver more fuel, and make more power).

Even with a carb'ed motor, cold air causes a LEAN condition if jetting was set for hot weather.
