Is it possible the ride height links are possibly frozen and/or swapped? Although if you had a problem with the sensor linkage you almost certainly would have the error glaring at you intermittently.
I would plug in to DIS and see what errors you have thrown since installing the new pump, if any. My only intermittent error I had since replacing my pump, was due to a ride height deviation error (one corner was 1/2" higher than the other corner, the system gives a deviation allowment of I believe 3/8")

No just fronts but have thoroughly tested rears and are in good shape.I should have explained myself better, when I was asking about the rear sensors I mean the fitment of the black square box to the frame , the sensor itself, not the arm I understand they should be level and pointing to the outside of the car.
