Actually you're right. I'd buy a dozen more 4.8is badges and put them all over. I might actually get a massive 4.8is decal and plaster it on the side like I saw on some knucklehead did with "Hemi" on his Dodge Magnum.
Gosh, how would you feel about the members here who have had the balls to retrofit a 4.8is or 4.6is spoiler kit on their non-4.8/4.6 X5's?
Contrary to what you and some others might think, some people don't care to show off that they have the biggest and best of the range and don't feel like crying at night because he/she doesn't own the best of the best. Yes, I am taking issue with your suggestion that people remove the 3.0 or 4.4 badge because they feel inferior rather than wanting a cleaner look. So you're better than me because you have a 4.8is and a Ferrari F355. I admit it. That's just great.
There's always someone with bigger and better toys and we all just try to enjoy what we have and enjoy others' pride in their rides, whatever they are. Hell, we have many members here who don't even own X5's. They're all welcome just the same.
