273,000+ km and the windows work nicely... though the key fob doesn't unlock the doors and the steering column doesn't adjust. Will fix both issues soon. Starting to feel like I lucked out, since it looks like this engine was a rebuild, or a newer engine dropped in the vehicle. There's yellow marker in lots of places that lead me to believe the engine was taken out of the car at the very least, and a lot of parts are new, with barcodes still intact.
Also noticed that I've got a slow seep on the crimped part f the vanos oil pipe... but that's $60 in parts and maybe an hour under the hood, so I won't complain.
