cutting ALL wires at once??? with power still connected??? this is a HUGE no-no in the world of electronics!!! unless your goal is destruction of equipment (sometimes we have to do it in hostile environments, to prevent equipment falling into wrong hands!!)

gee... i don't even know where to start the troubleshooting in this case...

anything smells of burnt electronics? any visible burn marks? were sparks flying when you cut it???
