Alpine CD changer is used by many brands,the box and connectors are different when it is branded.You get same internals with a "BMW","Mercedes",ETC logo.This one is generic with simple adapter.But I dont use it anymore after Mediabridge instalation.
I got the car with the Reese installed already(OEM harness).I have removed th erear bumper once when I was installing the brake controller,and I didnt see anything wrong with the hitch.I didnt know about any potential problems with this brand,but if there was something wrong I would have seen it/feeled it.
