Read the error the module was throwing, clear the codes. You might have a burnt out compressor if your bags were leaking for a long time before getting replaced. The compressor will be burnt out of spec but the car will hold the level, but it will throw an error rendering the ride control inactive and have the error on your dash.
Use DIS/INPA to read the codes the module is throwing and let us know.
I'm guessing bc the error came up when trying to lower the car that you might have a compressor burnt out, but wont know unless you read the codes and post them.
