M54 Jet Pump broken

I was working on replacing the intake boot on my M54 today, and while moving the jet pump out of the way to install the new boot, the pump broke...

I'm thinking that the part failed because of age and the current extreme cold we've seen in SC. Anyway, has anyone ever had this happen? I was able to get the hose off of the top (labelled 1 in the photo), and I see one of those damned crimp hose clamps on the bottom (2 in the photo). I assume I'll be cutting the crimp clamp off the lower hose and replacing with a normal hose clamp.

Does anyone know where the hose connected to 2 goes? I'd like to know in case I have to replace it. I can't really tell from the realoem diagrams.
