Model : 2004 E53 3.0i with 80k miles
Alternator: "Original" BMW Valeo 140amp


* What is the average life of an alternator for a M54 6 cylinder ?
* Should I stick with the Genuine BMW RMFD part versus an aftermarket?

Also, is this a good time to replace my fan blade, fan clutch and tensioners (mechanical to hydraulic).

Note: I already replaced my idler pulleys, serpentine belt and a/c belt about 1 or two years ago.
