MimicsX2 is still a "dark horse" in this diagram - i have contacted a guy on mp3car.com, he is a their "test-pilot" and actually he is a local guy to me and is my FB friend... he did a review of the Mimics a while ago, and was going to contact the guy in Australia once more, but I do not know what has become of it...
I do not wish to risk $250 for a questionable product, but I like the promise of the product so far - thus i included the mimicsx2 into the diagram, as a way to do this phone integration...
come to think about this - we do have board members from down under... i wonder if any of them has heard about the mimicsx2 guy from australia...
oh, and my set up is not finished either - i have serious issues with the power requirements for the Android phone - it drains the life out of the battery in a matter of one-two hours, even when connected to a power source... makes it unusable... i am not sure if this is just my specimen of the phone, or it is generic problem of most android phone... i would be happy if it did not lose the power while connected to the power supply - thus looking for a more powerful sources... i have components to build an 8 Amp supply, but maybe will buy a ready-made unit for 5 Amps first, to test drive it...
