Heh, I drove on a frozen lake with a 2wd pickup truck, a/s on the front, winters on the back, and did better than the 4x4 guys who spun out and ended up in the snow banks at the size of the ice road.
You CAN drive on ice, you just can't drive like it's Talladega :P
Though I will confess that I hit a pressure ridge at 60mph and had a Dukes of Hazzard moment... without spinning on when I landed. YEE-HAW!
