RB, it's not a question of fine neither a question of your insurance. In your country ( as opposed to ours) you can be held responsible for removing a SAFTY element of your car and face a lawsuit from your passenger or the new owner of the cars you sold without this SAFTY warning label in case of injury.

Don't want to debate this , I'm just giving the OP a heads up to check this cause it's been a while since I've been out of the import car business and there might of been a change in this law since..... Do your homework before you say we have weird laws RB.... lol
