First of all he's obviously venting a little, I think he's saying how in the hell can BMW charge 90 grand for a vehicle but can't get something as simple as a CCV system to operate properly? We all should be asking the same question instead of giving BMW a pass and blaming the operator, saying "you didn't drive it long enough or the engine isn't getting hot enough." Reminds me of those who place blame on the driver when a rear window regulator fails, they say "it's your fault for closing your rear doors with the the window rolled down." So now I have a $90K vehicle that I'm afraid to close the rear doors on...lol! We all know BMW did very little to fix the cold weather CCV problem, and did nothing at all to fix the window regulator problem, the door handle carrier problem, the list goes on and on. I worked for BMW for 3 years and I can tell you that reliability is not at the top of their list of customer concerns.
