Unfortunately no. If the nubs are worn down to the point it is slipping past the keyhole, you will need to replace the handle. But... I am guessing that it is because it is not fully engaged in the keyhole. When you put everything back together... did you notice the handle sitting funny? Like it matches up with the lines and such, but just not quite perfect? Or are the gaps around the handle just a tiny tiny tiny bit too far? If so, then it looks like it need to be pushed in farther.
