Hennessey went to Michelin France, same supplier Bugatti uses for the Veyron.

They are labeled Pilot Super Sports (see vid, 28 secs), but I would bet they're not "off the rack" tires.

The carcasses/sidewalls are most likely specially designed/developed to resist "standing wave" deformation and extreme centrifugal forces.

Pezho405, don't want to disagree with you, but the Veyron and XJ220 are "grand touring" class cars, the Venom GT and McC F1 are "Hyper-sport" class cars.

I was watching the development of the XJ220 back in the day, lost respect for Jag when they let the "bean counters" override the engineers, dropped the V12 engine development and went turbo 6.

The end result was a car that began development to be a XJ220 (220 mph top speed) and never reached that goal in production trim. For a company that always met it's intended speed goals (starting with the XJ120), missing the intended design goal can only be seen as a failure by the engineering group.

One of these things is not like the other.......
