I have a 2009 X5 with OEM 255/55 18inch runflat wheels and tires. The runflats I got Michelins, wore out quickly and have a rougher ride. I dont like them. I bought a spare tire kit and put it in the trunk so I can go with a standard (non runflat tire). My only problem is that there isnt a big choice in that original size.
I really like the Michelins LTX's (had them on my '01 X5) but they dont come in that size. Is there another size I can use on my 18" rim that comes close enough to the originals that it wont make much difference?
