LCM is a piece of hardware, Light Control Module, it controls most of the lights in the car, interior and exterior... it also controls some of the messages coming to you from various sensors... If you are planning to do it yourself, you must read a lot of information, as if you do something wrong, you may "brick" some important car modules, and then you will be out a lot of money to revive the car... to do it yourself, i would suggest buying a hardware package on ebay from the seller in Romania - he sells the cable and he also includes the software package that can also trouble shoot the engine and many other aspects of the car... search ebay for INPA, EDIABAS, you will a seller from romania - many people here have bought from him...

if you are not a do it yourself guy, you will need to find somebody local to you who already has the software/hardware bundle and can do it for you, maybe for small keg of heineken... lol...
