I would recommend a BMW independent shop called Martin MotorSports in Alexandria. Gary, the owner, is a "car guy" and has helped many a BMW owner get a handle on many issues over the years. He gets the idea of mods and is open to support your habits. Gary owns a X5, a M5 and a host of others. Tell him Stephen sent you and he will take care of you. I have known Gary for some 20+ years. I have even pulled a few wrenches for him when i was between jobs 5 years ago.
