Hey guy... Sent you a PM. Fwiw, you need to 'teach' the X to behave like a remote. Press the button same time as hand held remote.... Then, part 2. You now scale the ladder and hit the learn button and run back to the X and hit the button 3 times, blah, blah. This is so the 'new' remote (your X5) is married to the opener itself.
