Later E70 models did have a brake controller prewire, I just don't think it was there on the first few years of E70 production. Since the F15 is built on the E70 platform, there is a good chance it is just the same. Dealer will probably have to confirm, since I don't think any have done it and posted yet.

Here is some background on what to look for in prewiring. If your vehicle has the four wire plug in the rear quarter panel, looks like it will be straightforward.

The attachment below may be helpful. It is the instructions for the BMW trailer brake controller kit. I think it was a Prodigy P2. Not sure if it is still available, or if it is available for the F15, but could be helpful background info.
