I just think it is ass backwards to take off a factory cold air intake and install one that draws heated air from under the hood. If it wasn't drawing in that warm air there wouldn't be any roar.

got more responsiveness/instant torque and more power that I can feel plus the exhaust and engine sound is noticeably better
when you driving down the road how is there hot air entering the intake?
when your moving its only new/cold air in forward half of you engine bay
if your sitting in traffic I agree with you
but who idles around town?
with the new setup the intake box is essentially not a hot piece of plastic anymore
its a cone with no surrounding hot plastic
I just wish I did this when I first bought the x5
