Main reason is I have 42.5k on the clock and getting the BMW extended warranty (mandatory) will cost me $3.8k.

That being said, I will probably pay the $3.8k and keep driving the 5.0

I agree with posters above: unless you bump into a hungry dlr, it is all about the dollar diff of your car vs their car.
