what gets me more is that at the u-pull, the guy did the interchange on the vanos unit and said it ONLY fits 01-02 bmw x5 but when I get the part number off realoem.com (11361440142) it shows it will fit both the 530 and the 323?

I'm thinking I should go with the realoem over the counter guy but dont want to take the time to pull the units and pay the cash and they not fit...I'm wanting to build one up and have it ready to install when I pull mine apart...and then keep as a spare and such.
