Note: These seats are not plug and play. You're BMW needs to be coded if your upgrading from standard seats to these contour seats. After researching the coding issue I've found many (if not all) newer BMW's must be recoded to recognized seat upgrades. This is done frequently. If you're a DIY guy, have INPA, and have some basic electrical knowledge then visit bmwcoding.com to learn how to do the job yourself. Otherwise find a good local shop to recode the seats for you.

When I purchased these seats I was told they have Never been installed in an X5. I live in South Carolina located near the X5 plant. A guy who worked at the plant said he got these seats because of his job connection.
I'm not 100% certain these seats have never been installed but based on their great condition it could be true. The leather is in Perfect Shape, no signs of wear, tearing, or scratches. The plastic has a little scuffing and there is a small dent on the hard seat backing (see photos). The plastic cover on the front of the passenger seat is missing. (I have verified that BMW Dealership sells these replacement plastic pieces)
