IMO this stuff is the practical alternative to applying a wax biannually to keep water heading up off a daily driven car....I just don't have time to do it anymore!
Phil at detailed domain would really be the guy to talk to here about this stuff as I'm sure he has a wealth of knowledge regarding it!

Just make sure you read the instructions closely and follow them exactly. Unforgiving coating.
I've used Cquartz with good results (in fact I have some waiting to go on the 2011 M3, 2nd time doing it in 3 years), but Opti II is the hot set up now.
