I am not getting trans failsafe, only the DSC 4X4. I have been searching the forums and found this article by JunkyC: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...al-solved.html.

It looks like I may need to replace the sensor.

upallnight, I was using the regular OBD II CODE Reader and I do have the BMW software. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
