Lol, yeah I need to get on that crud on the engine block asap!

Here's a chart I made showing the torque spec by head/socket size and grade:



Of course the local BMW dealer didn't have the rubber grommet in stock for the left upper timing cover, so it will be Wednesday before it comes it. Part number is 11141736758.

Each time I have pulled the cover off to work on the engine, I have seen stink bugs crawling on the engine and flicked them off. I'm sure one or two have crawled into the engine by now. I'm hoping they will just disintegrate when running the engine and be disposed of with the 1st oil change. I hate those things, they are everywhere, at least here in Virginia.
