the screen is white...
the OE screen is by default is black when it is not energized (well, kind of black - it is dark). For the screen to be white, it means, there is some reaction from the screen to the applied power. if the screen reacts to the applied power but does display an image of the menu (or any other standard image generated by the nav comp), that may mean that the nav computer is either not connected or malfunctioning.
This is all running on assumption that the original factory set up in the car was not altered.
DSM, can you tell us the status of your issue - have you been able to start the engine? can you elaborate on your nav setup?
