I looked though a few posts and used those as a base for mine. Which I think sound pretty good so far.

Treble +2
Bass 0
Balance 0
Fader +2 Front
Surround off!!!

100Hz 0
200Hz -1
500Hz 0
1KHz +2
2KHz -2
5KHz +4
10KHz +6

I see a lot of settings that fade it to rear, but IMO that defeats the front stage imaging. These settings are my starting point, i've only had the x5 for 2 weeks, but 100% better then the previous owners settings.
