That's exactly the point of a build thread is to share your adventure with your car. Sharing issues that arise and the way you solved them during your ownership, which will help others down the road too. I'm all for improving a car over stock with quality mods. However learning and testing the very limits of parts and your car in general should be done in a SAFE manner and that's my point here. Document it using proper tools, which I mentioned above, that will show credible data and will be more fun as well. Your input is great, right on the mark. Unfortunately, you are trying to have a sensible adult conversation. Regardless of age, when an ego is fed by their vehicle and is their verification of the size of their junk, it is highly probable they will not see the light until the imaginary horrible actually happens.
