Tensioner is in the seat belt buckle assembly. But if you have issues with that, you should get SRS (airbag light) warning. Try unplugging the cable connection to the seat belt buckle. There are two. Connection at the hub of the seat belt assembly and another one that connects to main seat connector.
I recently replaced comfort seats with sport seats. Only error I got was the occupancy sensor message from passenger side. Since my X is 2004 and the seat were from 2006, design of occupancy sensor has changed so I couldn't use one from my X. I just ended up disabling this feature from Scanner 1.4 to eliminate the message. Besides that, everything worked perfectly, including memory functions.
I don't have air suspension (well just the air bags in the rear) so I couldn't tell you about the SLS.

A friend that has a body shop just stopped by. He brought his inpa with him. The seats are bricked. The tensioner code that keeps going off cannot be cleared. He said i will most likelly need to replace all the modules in it. How crazy is that.
