carbon fibre steering wheel cover - anyone have one?
wondering if anyone has tried one of these? Looks like it goes straight over the original?

Yes looks like it's an overlay. I don't know of anyone that sells complete replacement pieces. I'd be careful, fitment is probably not 100%. Most people just wrap existing trim with carbon fiber fabric or vinyl.

To be honest, I just wanted a quick solution to my peeling steering wheel plastic, without removing the airbag, etc!

Yes certainly appears to be a simple overlay, looks like it mounts with double sided tape.

They don't even know that it ONLY for facelift (04-06)
Unless you have the CF trim too, it will look odd in the interior.

It's unlikely. I have they grey trim throughout the interior. Ideally I'd like a proper carbon fibre kit! Does anyone know if there's anything like this available?
